National Pi Day: Best Pizza & Pie Deals for Students on March 14

If Pi is a mathematical constant, then pizza pie is the food constant for college and high school students across the country.

While every day of the year is a good day for pizza, 3/14 is an all-around perfect day to celebrate the wonder that is this culinary collegiate favorite.

March 14 (3.14, if you will) marks National Pi Day, and national pizza (and pie) places are getting in on all the pun-tastic fun of offering deals on pies. That means you can really save some cash while eating some dough!

Take a look at these great deals below (Just don’t forget to calculate the tip!)

LOTSA Stone Fired Pizza

A campus favorite at their 10 nationwide locations, LOTSA Stone Fired Pizza is offering $3.14 for one of their signature or build your own pizzas with unlimited toppings on Pi Day. In order to get the deal, you have to like them on social—and voila! —affordable pizza is all yours.

Blaze Pizza

If you’re a Blaze Pizza fan, you’ll want to download their app before 3/14 in order to have their Pi Day special—a $3.14 pie— unlocked for their day-of offer. (Just a heads up, it’s one pizza per order, and you can only claim it in stores, so you’ll have to venture off campus for a bit.)

Round Table Pizza

Pizza makes the world a better place, and no one understands that sentiment better than Round Table Pizza. On 3/14, the restaurant will continue their Pi Day tradition of donating $1 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and giving customers a coupon for a free original personal pizza (cheese or pepperoni, dine-in only) with every purchase.

Your Pie

And you can tell everybody, this is your pie. (That said, you can share with your dorm-mate, if they’re being cool that day.) The pizzeria is offering $3.14 pizzas all Pi Day long at participating locations.

Pi Pizzeria

It would be a crime if a place called Pi Pizzeria didn’t have a Pi Day offer. Luckily, the campus pizza police(za) won’t need to be called, as the restaurant will offer BOGO specials, as well as having contests and giving away prizes at their locations throughout the day.

Domino’s Pizza

The nationwide chain has an ongoing deal of choose any two or more items (including handmade pan pizzas) for $5.99 each that will still be available on, you guessed it, National Pi Day.

Little Caesars

Up the carb ante on National Pi Day by getting one of Little Caesars $6 hot-n-ready pretzel crust pizzas between 4-8 pm on 3/14 (and every day while the deal lasts).

Pro Tip:

Your college student I.D. will help you maximize savings. Use your student discounts wisely, so you can save money while still in school.

Pizza Hut

Like their pizza chain brethren, Pizza Hut’s deal ($7.99 for a large, two-topping pizza ordered online) extends beyond 3/14, but as we mentioned, pizza just tastes better on Pi Day. We don’t make the rules, that’s just how it is.

Whole Foods

Make sure you leave room because the only thing that goes better with pizza is dessert. And, keeping with the 3/14 theme, you’re going to want that dessert to be pie. Whole Foods is taking $3.14 off any of their large bakery pies. Don’t worry, we did the math, and your diet officially starts on 3/15.

Bakers Square

Circle gets the square! Bakers Square is getting in on the Pi Day fun by offering $2 off any whole double crust fruit pie. (They even bake the pi symbol into the pie, so you can wow your math club pals!) You can take part between 3/13-3/14, because if there’s anything better than Pi Day, it’s celebrating it over the course of two days.
